The Passing of Smokin’ Joe Anderson

As you all know, Smokin’ Joe Anderson left this world late last Friday night (11-23-2007) or early Saturday (11-24-2007)morning. Joe passed while in his sleep with his best friend, Chester, his 3-legged dog at his side.

GUNS of AUGUST RESULTS – 2006

Hi Pards,

Just want to drop everyone a short note to inform those of who are unaware that Smokin’ Joe has been hospitalized with a mild heart attack.  The doctors have stabilized his condition and he is resting well.  The doctors are some what concerned though with Smokin’ Joe’s kidneys.  Through all of the tests they have performed on Joe, they discovered that (more…)

Newly Inducted Regulators – 2006

Shootout at Hardtimes (Ohio state championship match) – 2006

New Kid on the Range – 2006

Hi Pards, Well it was another exciting weekend of shooting at the Old Possum.  But, this weekend was real special and a real eye opener.  We had a new shooter show up who has only been shooting CAS for about 3 or so months.  This kid is the real deal, if ya know what I mean.  When I asked Tall Drink A Water and Whiskey Creek Johnson, who the heck this kid was, they told me

Holland Visitor – 2006

Boy, was I ever surprised the other day when I opened my e-mail page and found that someone from Holland had cruised onto our web site.  He is a 50 year young shooter that lives in Woerden, Holland.  He is a member of several Shooting Clubs, but his home Club is an indooor range with 43 shooting lanes.  He shoots both blackpowder and smokeless ammo. He likes shooting his Colt 45’s, Smth & Wesson 38’s, and also his Walther 22.

A Personal Thank You – 2006

Well Pards, I guess I need to take a few moments to thank a whole bunch of people for a “JOB WELL DONE”……….  These individuals all worked their tails off, helping us to prepare for our Annual Match at Possum Trot.  Several of these individuals took on more than one job task, which helped us to put on a fantastic match again this year.
